@Smythe, not sure what you're getting at in regards to firearms and the Biathalon gold medal. That sport obviously doesn't get the exposure it deserves, but then again not many Canadians are in to biathalon. The only thing Canada wants is a gold medal in hockey.

Regarding having the ceremonies indoors, boy they sure won't regret that considering the spring-like weather that's been threatening the events at Cypress Mountain. They're forcasting rain on Friday, and lots of it. It should be an interesting ceremony with lots of surprises. Now the questions is who is going to light the cauldron?

Could they have not split in 4 different directions? Or they were all heading back to the same dormitory? Great story on dine-and-dash, or eat-and-run.

Short track speed skating is one of the more exciting events. This photo needs a caption: "So who's paying for dinner tonight?"

Watch out Japan because he'll blast you for the global shortage of whales and tuna. But seriously, the environment?

While he's at it how about putting a cap on how rich the rich can be. Cap it off at 100 million. That'll solve all problems.

These guys are clever and without a doubt they don't feel guilty one bit. The lawmakers have been fed well by these guys.

I will assume that the make of the car is not only the sponsor of the outdoor rink, but also the makeshift zamboni. Otherwise the owner of the car paid an extra 10,000 Yen to park his car at center ice.

The red light districts are booming with business by these very men. On the other hand (pun intended) men have been occupied by internet porn such as live webcams and whatnot.

They should lower their prices and lessen the quantity. A lot of big brands have been doing that for years. A fast food place like this can certainly do the same.

I agree with the above comments, this man was caught in 2007 and now the gov't of UK comes to his defense. Some are calling the execution barbaric, but there are many countries who still do this - including the USA. I think he was guilty 110%. Good for China for making a scapegoat out of him. People would now think twice before trying to make a quick buck by playing stupid.
