What does an M.Ed now about economics? It is an educational specialization isn't it? How do these people get published?
Please. China is simply the factory of the world and, just like Japan, once the price of labor goes up they will lose that crown to some poorer and hungrier country. The sign of a good system is one that can survive this transition successfully. Japan dropped the ball and it is yet to be seen if China does the same. In the 80's there were those who talked about the economic center moving away from US to Japan, but now Japan is a stagnant, debtor nation with no real political power, US is still powerful and the EU is gaining strength.
Contradiction?

"Above the Law" was great, but any other Steven Segal movie can go on the list. What's with the black leather coat man? You look like a Darleck from Dr Who.

This must be some type of joke website: (http://www.bountyhunter-jp.com/index.html) Who would willingly put up pictures like these? i love the one with him holding the American flag to his chest. What message are we meant to read from that? He looks like another American wanna-be tough guy.

This vigilante group most be aligned with a larger organization to pay for all these activities. How am I suppose to trust that a 16 year-old child can make a rational decision without prejudice or emotion? Say they want to detain me but I don't agree. Can I sue them for assault? If I feel threatened by them and choose to defend myself, am I allowed to fight back?

For me the interesting part of this discussion concerns the Japanese born "foreign" residence of Japan. Calling them Japanese might not be accurate, but they are certainly not foreign if all they have known is Japanese language and culture their entire lives. How is it possible for the Japanese government to enjoy the benefits from this groups lifetime of labor and tax payments without allowing them a say? Why do so many people in Japan view change as losing something when most of the world sees it as a gain?

If I have known the person for a short time and they call me a gaijin then no I don't think it is racist. However, if they continue to use the term gaijin after they have come to know me better and understand where I come from then I think it is racist.
