I think Japan has a really good Shoegaze scene, all the bands have kept true to the original sound from way back. Burrn, My Dead Girlfriend, Civic, Kamiyui, Oeil are just a few bands that are making great music. Unfortunatly I seem to miss shoegaze bands when I go to Japan. Next time.
