This is not a blow to Japanese law enforcement. The guy who murdered Lindsey Hawker is living a normal life somewhere and nobody is going to turn him over for fear reprisals. It goes against the nature of Japanese to stick out.

Good post usaexpat and Imagawa, and like I posted in my initial openning, the emperor is not visiting Yasukuni and neither is the PM - they should ! Japanese people have to know that visiting such a shrine is NOT a CRIME.
