Israel has nuclear bombs that the US helped to develop. No one needs to worry about the safety of Israel. All that discussion is just empty rhetoric meant to cover for the brutal oppressor that is the Likud party running the government in Israel.
Even the majority of Israelis want to return to the 67 borders as they know that is the only path to peace. Just like the republican party in the US, the Likud party in Israel is run by religious nuts. That is what the republicans and the Likud party have in common.

Magnificent work by Obama. What he is calling for is mainstream and moderate in approach. The typical hysterical reaction for the religious right just verifies that Obama's approach is correct.
Israel now has a choice, accept this challenge and live in peace or refuse and continue to be not very different from those countries that oppressed Jews during WW2.

When Obama applied to Harvard he did not indicate his race. Look it up, it is a fact. Regarding legacy kids at Ivy league schools, this is such common knowledge that by disputing it you simply are showing how little you know about the USA. Books have been written about this topic.
Bush did not show up because he would have been booed by New Yorkers. After being warned repeatedly by Clinton people and getting a CIA report on OBL getting ready to attack the USA, Bush did nothing. He let 9-11 happen and most people understand that now. And then he let OBL free for his entire administration. Obama had to start over in the OBL hunt and two years later, he gets him. That is success. Bush was a failure. Facts.
Bush lead nothing in his 8 years except failure. 9-11, Katrina, the failed wars, the economic collapse (he was clueless about this), the crumbling of the environment in the USA, the crumbling of infrastructure, the no kids left behind failure, huge government debt, trying to gut social security and on and on and on. Facts, not politics.
That is the difference between our views. You claim Obama got into Harvard cause he was black when the fact is he didnt indicate race. That by itself illustrates the conservative point of view, wrong and racist to boot.

If you took the collective IQs of any three of the current republican candidates it would be less than Obama. Democratic Presidents of late have been near genius level. Bush could not even speak correctly. Palin does not read nor for that matter think. Your comments reflect only your deeply partisan opinion. It is fact free.
Yabits, Newt is the most corrosive candidate of all, he was even rejected by his party for being such a tremendous pain in the backside. USA would never recover if he became President. Obama is doing the best he can right now to recover from the past 8 years of failure.

Newt does not have a chance as no way the christian right will go for him. He is too morally corrupt. His last excuse for cheating on his wife was he worked too hard. The man has no shame and thinks other Americans are idiots. He would be right about anyone who would support him for the run for the white house.

Obama accomplishes what Bush could not because he was more interested in Iraqi oil than protecting the USA. Bush diverted troops away from the OBL compound in ToraBora to invade Iraq will OBL then able to escape.

The man that attacked the US while Bush was too busy clearing weeds from his ranch, the man that Bush said he wanted dead or alive but failed to do anything about it, the man that bush used by lying about him to illegally invade Iraq, is now dead because of President Obama. Once again the democrats have to clean up the failures of the republican administrations.

With Glen Beck getting fired from Fox Fake News this week the misinformed are going to be leaderless for a while. That is your fair and balanced network.
Clinton won in 96 because he balanced the budget after Reagan destroyed it with tax cuts for the rich (sound familiar?), he was smarter than anyone in the republican party and last the republicans ran Dole. The republicans do not have a candidate that can win in the general election today. None. 2012 may be another landslide for Obama.

Hillary was the only legit candidate other than Obama in 2008 and Obama out campaigned her. No republican can beat him now, that is why they are all so afraid to announce for the 2012 run. Most of the republican candidates are reality tv actors anyway. It will be entertaining however to see the retreads and the reality stars debate non-issues for months. In the end it will be embarrassing for all republicans, or for at least the ones that still a sense of shame left.

Only the deluded and the republicans would spin yarns about Obama not winning it 2012. These head in the sand folks guaranteed a McCain victory, instead we got a landslide victory for Obama. Thank you so much Palin for making that happen.
Obama in 2012 will get credit for fixing the bush trainwreck economy and for protecting the country from the big banks and insurance companies that bankroll the republican party. This will be 1996 all over again. No one wants the republicans to have all the keys to the country again, we would all be driven off a cliff yet again.
Right now the republicans are close to shutting down the government yet again, like back in 94. The results will be the same, heads will roll in the republican party. Just ask Newt. First they want to destroy the country and then they destroy their own party.

If Hillary does run in 2012 it will be for VP with Obama. If that happens game over. Not just in 2012, but in 2016 and 2020 as well. The USA will have sane leadership for a generation. Like when FDR was President after yet another republican depression.

If Japan dropped consumption and increased use of green energy sources the nuke plants could all be shut down. It is that simple. The LDP prevented this from happening before as they were sell out to the nuke industry, big time, and protected it when it failed over and over again. We shall see what happens now in Japan after the meltdown of one or more plants.
Germany will shut down all its nuke plants in the next decade, 200,000 people protested today in that country against nuke usage in Germany. They will show the way how to replace the dirty and risky nuke energy with green sources that will not irradiate spinach and risk cancer for infants.

No such thing as a safe nuke plant. Three weeks ago all nuke plants in japan were deemed to be safe. Risk for contamination is simply to great. Germany is doing the right thing and in the long run its a cheaper way to go. The staggering costs associated with the japan nuke failures could pay for japan to develop huge new green energy sources. Instead it will go for cleanup and paying those damaged by the nuclear waste that poured out of the "safe" fukushima plants in the last few weeks.

Last week israel bombed gaza and killed hamas leaders. That was out of the blue, no provacation at all. Now Hamas is striking back at the israelis is they were attacked with cause. It just goes on and on. Meanwhile gaza is under apartied oppression completely controlled by one of the top military organizations in the world.
Its like the lions against the christians, with gaza playing the role of the poor christians. When israel invaded gaza and used WMDs on civilians 1400 died, 10 or so israeli died as I recall. Just ten. Lions, Christians. Same story.

Conservatives often get facts wrong, 1980, 1984. Just four years. Mondale ran in 84 for President, not 80. Carter ran then. Just a couple of names I guess.
