Stop whining about what is simply inevitable. Life involves kids.

The party of angry loons now. And the leadership is too weak to stand up to the far right hippie crowd that will destroy the republican party.

The republicans are getting what they deserve now for letting Palin out of Alaska. Bush put the party on life support and McCain drove a stake into its bleeding heart.

Welcome to the jungle It gets worse here everyday Ya learn ta live like an animal In the jungle where we play If you got a hunger for what you see You'll take it eventually You can have anything you want But you better not take it from me

Secondhand smoke appears to trigger a complex inflammatory response in the lungs, a study in rats reveals.

The researchers exposed the animals to secondhand smoke five times per week for two or four months. The exposures occurred in two three-hour shifts twice a day, separated by a two-hour break.

"This is much like what a human would be exposed to at a bar or casino," Adelheid Kratzer, an investigator in the pulmonary and critical care division in the department of medicine at the University of Colorado-Denver, said in an American Physiological Society news release.

Two months of exposure to secondhand smoke was enough to cause significant changes in the rats' lungs, and those changes were even more notable after four months.

Once again the democrats have to clean up a collosal screw up by the republicans. All the phony promises from bush prior to the invasion based on lies, like cheap oil for all. Actually by driving the economy into a ditch in 2007 bush did deliver on cheap oil. Too bad 8 million Americans had to lose their jobs in the meantime.

This huge bleeding failure is finally coming to end for the US. And now of course it will get worse there until some other cruel dictator takes over, who will hate the US for what it did to the country. Blowback. Just like everywhere else the neocons lead the US to invade.

Beck is a tool of the Morman church. They hate blacks and gays. Restoring america is a simple code for making american white and straight again, or at least the appearance of those two things.

Not gonna happen. What this event shows is how the reactionary crowd is dying. The average age at the event seemed to have been 65. Old and tired and angry they all were.

If bush had gone the koreas would be at war now over missing weapons of mass destruction.

Fact is democrats get thing done, republicans whine and whine and do nothing at best but usually just screw things up. Forcing democrats to fix the mess when they take over. Like now with Obama cleaning up after 8 years of failure, massive debt and economic ruin.

Carter was the most moral president the USA has had in decades. He warned the country about the oil addiction decades ago. The republicans did not listen and we are still fighting wars for oil now.

Maybe Carter will another nobel prize, the best bush will get is the prize in a box of crackerjacks. Which he will break of course.

Please God let Palin run in 2012. Obama will win in another landslide election. I never thought anyone would make bush look smart, but Palin does.

Good for Bloomberg to stand up to the rabid haters of the right. He is showing character and a grasp of the bigger picture, which is why he is an ex-republican.

The Pentagon has a mosque, not a community center in it, but not a peep from the far right folks on that one. Nothing.

Fact it most of the increase in the debt comes from bush programs and his wars, plus the downturn which started when bush let Wall Street run wild and leverage up their crazy financial program of destruction, as Buffet called them, up to 40 to 1. Obama, as all democrats must do, is cleaning up the mess left by the previous failed republican leaders.

And Sarge, if you think you can spend your money better than the government please start paving the streets outside my home, and monitor food safety, and build a jet while you are at it. Public goods lad, look it up.

Yes, capitalism was working just fine two years ago when the whole system collapsed. Even Bush blinked and set up TARP to the tune of $700 billion more dollars added to the bush red ink. But without this infusion of casf depression would have set in. So in fact socialism saved capitalism in the USA. The author is clueless.

The author is so clueless he defeats his own premise with his own words. China business is mostly state owned and now its number two in GDP in the world. It passed Japan which is more socialist than capitalist in an American sense. So the second and third economies are socialist in form and nature. Yes that socialism just does not work out. Europe too, what a failure socialism is there. The EU GDP is bigger than the US, but tfat does not fool the hapless author.

Anyway the neocons are intellectually bankrupt and have proven over and over again they reality is just beyond their limited intellect. 2007 and 2008 did not happen for them I guess.

Look to Dick Cheney's pockets for much of the lost loot.

This amount is peanuts compared to the trillion plus wasted on this idiotic and useless invasion. How republicans can whine about debt when it was them that cheered on this total failure that is bankrupting the US budget is unbelievable. Stopping the failures in Iraq and Afghanistan will save the US government trillions. But no, the republicans would rather watch americans starve than admit failure in these fake wars.

    Badsey,

wow, you are confused. The wikileaks information was not gained via a hacker, it turned over in the hope that the truth about the failed bush invasion of Afghanistan. Liberals have been saying for years that the war in both Afghanistan and Iraq are failures. Nothing new there. Try to pay attention to those that know better.

The hacker incident regarding global warming, hope you enjoying the warmest summer ever this year, turned out to be meaningless. News from last week.

And what are these globalist you are so afraid of? Do they live under mushrooms? Are they magically delicious?

The ways that the tea bagger types fool themselves are simply endless. It would be hilarious if not so sad, sad in a pitiful way really.

    Tsurubushi,

there were millions of people protesting the iraqi invasion before it happened. Perhaps you were not alive then. The fact it did happen shows how democracy can be derailed by the criminal few who fool a country.

SuperLib, the truth is just so horrible for you and your kind to face. You can have you own opinion but you cannot have your own facts much as you whine about this.

    SuperLib,

What bush did to Iraq in so far beyond the crimes of Saddam. Bush's actions have resulted in a the murder of at least a million Iraqis and the displacement of millions more. Bush is in the major leagues of war criminals, up there with Idi Amin and Stalin. Hussein was a bit player by comparison. And of course the rabid conservative media played up the crimes by Saddam and his family endlessly in the run up to the fake war.

A new book about the murder of four Iraqis by Stephen Green and his GI buddies is coming out. Of course not published in the USA. The rape and murder of a 14 year old girl and the murder of three more members of the family, one a 6 year old child, is the perfect illustration of the horror of the bush invasion of Iraq. It was all based on lies and resulted in the rape and murder of Iraq. It is a tragic failure that helped the enemies of the USA and England.

    http://readersupportednews.org/off-site-news-section/45-45/2508-the-blackest-hearts-war-crimes-in-iraq

The liberals on this board knew this before, during and immediately after the tragedy. Only the sops of the right wing cheered on shock and awe and repeated that WMD in Iraq would be found eventually. All lies. Those that now attempt to justify these war crimes are sadly disconnected with reality and their own humanity.

Americans who learn the truth about this faked invasion must see as well that never should the party that lead this massacre that resulted in so much death and destruction be given power again. If they get it they will do this same thing over again and murder more hundreds of thousands and run up trillions of dollars more in debt for the country. Again, probably for the oil companies that own the republican party.

"Can you imagine if there was a National Association for the Advancement of White People?"

Sarge, uh, that would be the republican party that has zero members in congress that are black. Zero. 12 percent of the population and zero member is congress. zero. zero. zero.

The NAACP is not racist, promoting black causes does not mean other are excluded. Even you know that is stupid.

While all these useless posts were going down yet another example of the racism of the tea party express is in the headlines. Not a week goes by without some idiot leader of the republican tea party exposing his racism. Now they are condemning each other over this last racist publication creating a circular firing squad that suits them perfectly.

The beautiful game would be damaged by tech. Those that propose such an idea do not understand the game at all.

The pitch is filled with errors, think of the drama of a goalie error in the Eng;USA match. Or the missed goals when strikers are past the defenders but miss their shot on goal. These errors define the game by the players, the same is true of the refs when they show that they too are human and make mistakes.

There is no fairness in sport. When ManU plays a bottom of the table team, its unfair before the game starts. No TV will fix that. Adding tech would make the WC more precise but the soul of the sport would be lost. Unfortunately the sore losers and first time WC fans do not understand this.

this is beckhams english team now, all flash and no real substance. Beckham sucked wind in his last WC, clearly the Brits as a whole were the same. The last german goal, it was men against boys. Ozil just sprinted past the defenders and passed it over so anyone could have scored.

Germany could have scored more goals than four but saved their stars for the next match.

Goodbye pansies. Time to rebuild from the ground up if possible. Could be sumo replay for england, no real talent left in the country to maintain the sport.
