I do not recall PBS going soft as well but remember they were under attack for most of the bush administration as being too liberal, which means being objective to the bush people.
There is a groundswell now to have all democrats refuse to be on Fox News of any sort. MoveOn has noted that fox showed the teabagger townhalls 22 times against Obama and showed townhalls that supported Obama zero times. Democrats should not support such biased programming. Another huge step in reflecting reality in 2009 as opposed to the bush policies which failed during the Reagan administration (just say no).
There are more medical week shops in LA now that starbucks. Pick your recreational drug of choice, dope or caffiene.
Dope should be legalized and then taxed. Then the mexican cartels that are buying NRA guns to shoot themselves and others would be out of business at least for the dope portion. And the states could get out of debt in the process by collecting the taxes.
This is why I voted for Obama, common sense responses to the failures of the bush adminstration.
And yes, if the millions of american dope smokers vote for Obama then indeed its game over for the burbon sipping lucky stripes just say no republicans. Bush did cocaine as we all know but that drug should stay illegal.

agreed that the media today is spineless and basically useless. Look at how all forms of media jumped on the shock and awe bandwagon to justify a huge lie. It was incredible. The Post and the NYT included. But the difference with fox is that they design their programming to lie and deceive in order to carry out the aims of karl rove and his band of criminals.

Numerous studies point out that regular fox news followers are less informed that those that get their news elsewhere. Why? Because fox news does not report the truth, they report only what rove and his criminal band of loonies want it to report. For example fox will often switch the party label of some congressman who is found guilty of sex crimes or whatever from the real tag republican to democrat. Its happened often enough now to see its a strategy.
Turn off fox news whereever you go, its garbage and will make you turn stupid or republican.

some corrections. Most of the 9-11 crew were trained in Germany and they were Saudi nationals. Not Iraqis or Afganis. Terror networks are by definition stateless.
Also the taliban offered to turn over OBL to the USA but the USA did not accept the offer. Remember that bush dealt with the taliban directly up until 9-11 when they became the bad guys to justify the invasion.

to be clear about this bush ran up $700 billion plus in debt to bail out AIG and Goldman Sachs. Obama is investing in main street saving constuction jobs and teacher jobs, hundreds of thousands of them.
Bush did what he did cause he was told to do so by his finance people. Bush did not understand what was going on as has been reported, he did know it violated his stupid free market fantasy. But if he had not acted the markets would have collapsed totally and the great depression would be minor by comparison.
So once again Keynesian economics saves the day and the libertarian fountain head reading loonies who think markets fix themselves are left sucking wind. Again. Just ask your hero Greenspan who apologized for screwing up so badly.
