It would be like being handed a report with a title like *Terrorist group poised to attack America** and immediately going on vacation.

Bah-ha-ha, where do you come up with these statements. Next you are going to start writing about My Pet Goat and invading Iraq based on lies. That would be a good one too.

Useless government waste. The new Cray computer is funded by US government as well. This is about useless competition and massive misuse of tax payer funds.

Wow, Cain has proven he is a real republican now. Abuse of power, hush money, denial, denials of the denial, sexual abuse. Now if he had harassed men it would be a 100% shut case of him being a real republican.

Its great how the republicans are still living in the 90s with Clinton being President again. What he did was adultery, what Cain has done is harassment. Someone explain to the republicans what this means, I have given up on trying to prove the obvious to the faith-based right wing radio crowd. They all live in a bubble, and its the 1990s again I guess. Anyway, most of the posters here want to defend Cain as per the script they were given by their leaders, but they will not vote for him. Not because he is a loon, a sexual predator and has zero qualifications to be President. No, they will not vote for him because he is black. If Cain and Obama run together most republicans heads will just explode.

Perry is a dope. His brand of retail sell out to the highest bidder politics may work in Texas but will not play nationally. He will not get a chance to debate Obama. He will be long gone before the debates happen.

The front runner, Cain, has issued instructions that he is not to be talked to by his staff. He must be working on his next economics plan, maybe 10-10-10, and needs silence to figure that out.

BOJ cannot match firepower of FX international market. Yen will strengthen back to 75 as it has before when BOJ intervenes. Today is just for show to keep Toyota off the governments back for a few weeks.

Ron Paul will never become President. He is too weird. He is a Doctor who thinks uninsured people should be allowed to die, for example.

The names and gender of the Japanese PMs is not important. That they are idiots, other than Kan, is the key point for the Dali Llama to recall.

Lumping Radiohead in with U2 is like comparing Kobe beef with a BIg Mac. Anyone who makes that comparison is a not a fan of music, or is simply just a troll.

And it is not just a matter of taste. The Beatles will live on and on and on. U2 will be forgotten 10 years from now. Quality matters.

Most overrated band ever. And most of their fans from the 80s know that now. Some of us knew it back then.

greatest overrated band ever . . . sure a few songs are OK but compared to radiohead for example-not even close.

Thatcher and Brown subsequently clearly opted out of the Euro. They voted to opt out. Now Cameron wants to provide input on something his country did not join? Sure England could be negatively affected by what the 17 Eurozone nations do, but that decision to face that risk was made a long time ago by England. So far they have done OK. The bigger threat to the English economy is the austerity program that Cameron is promoting, the English economy is tanking as a result.

Cameron is showboating now, England has nothing to add to the Euro discussions. Nothing. He should have just come here and NZ.

US and Korea are signing a FTA now. That means J goods are going to become even more expensive that Korean goods in US. Already Korea has a 15 percent advantage. So what is more important to Japan, a farm industry that is dying off and is now only 2 percent of the population or Sony, Honda and Toyota.

Pretty easy to figure out what the right thing to do is, but that may not happen unfortunately. Kan would have made TPP pass but the current PM, big smokey loser it seems.

    > RomeoROCT. 22, 2011 - 01:22PM JST Obama was negotiating with Iraq for our troops to stay longer but he was demanding amnesty for our troops. Iraq said no. So, Obama had to go back to the original deadline that was outlined by Mr. Bush's Administration.

The troops are coming home thanks to Mr. Bush.

4000 Americans are dead because bush lied the country into a fake war. It took Obama three years to unwind the mess that bush and the idiot republicans created with shock and awe, and the colossal failure that followed. One of the saddest chapters in american history is coming to an end finally, hundreds of thousands dead, trillions wasted, US worldwide standing destroyed. In the end its Obama who kills OBL and Bush who gets credit for a failed war of choice with absolutely no meaning whatsoever.

Another huge victory for Obama. He gets OBL after a couple of years while Bush has seven and did nothing. He was hands on in LIbya invasion, it would not have happened without US support and US military cover, and now another massive victory.

Lets do the math. Bush wars in ME, ten years, losses, 5000 US dead, trillions wasted, US embarrassed. Obama war in Libya, 8 months, little spent, no US lives lost, massive victory with creation of a democracy in Libya. Obama is the real war president. Republicans, like everything else they touch, just fail over and over again. Why anyone votes for failure in the US is just plain crazy. Obama gets the job done. And when it is done, he doesn't fly a jet and claim mission accomplished like bush did prematurely for Iraq, he just simply congratulates the Iraqi people although it was him that really insured victory. Class act all the way though. No republican president since Dwight Eisenhower even comes close.

Wow, what a bunch of no opt losers. I have to admit adding Palin would be putting the cherry on the top of nutty sundae. I miss her now that she has receeded from the limelight.

So it will be Romney and Rubio it looks like. This is good for Obama for sure as Romney will keep the far right christians from voting as they will not be able to vote for a cult member(as they say). Does not matter, if Obama puts Hilary in the VP slot its game over no matter who runs as a republican.

Sure Huntsman looks good compared to the seven dwarfs. But Obama neutralized him four years ago with the job in China. Very shrewd of Obama to do that. The man is seven steps ahead of any republican, even the few smart ones that are still left in the party.

The defenders of the republican agenda of welfare of the rich, when they are not rich themselves, is nutty. Only 1% of the US population should attempt to defend the corrupt wealth transfer to the rich the republicans have engineered since Reagan. The rest of the folks echoing the party line are either getting paid to do so or are unable to connect the dots. Its sad really, advocating for your own poverty.

Regarding Cain, clearly he is an Uncle Tom type who has disowned his own heritage. During the civil rights protests at their peak Cain was in Atlanta. He did nothing to help his own people with a the struggle to get basic human rights such as whites had at that time. He did nothing as he felt no connection to the struggle. Its like Palin and feminism, she is a woman but if she could she would set back women's right decades. Uncle Tom says it all. Clarence Thomas is another example of the same type of sell out.

Cain is an idiot, no wonder he has the lead now with the republicans. A flat tax is a huge displacement of burden to the middle class from the rich, right out of the republican playbook since Reagan started the corporate welfare movement. 50 percent of US folks do not pay fed taxes, because they are poor. Duh. A sales tax would hit them hard. The rich pay less in taxes on a percent basis than the middle class. Thanks to Bush and Reagan. They are shorting the country to feed their own greed. And they are getting their way as their share of income and wealth goes up and up and up while the other 99 percent of americans go down and down and down.

Every idea the republicans throw out has been offered before and has failed. Giving more money to the rich does not create jobs or help the economy. It just makes the rich richer. But the rich donate to the republican party, that is why they get the tax breaks and huge bailouts. Republicans let the 99% just go down the tubes. Its socialism for the rich and capitalism for the rest of Americans. Cain is just a new voice to the same old failed ideas. Ideas that let to the 2008 collapse of the US economy.

the only way to get nicotine addicts to stop is to make it too expensive for them to smoke. Anything else is useless. Smokers know the risks of cancer, the second hand smoke threat they pose, how they stink up a room, that they throw their used cigs on the street everywhere, and on and on. Yet they continue to smoke anyway.

The DPJ is gutless on this matter. Its a huge win for public health and a great revenue source from those that are a huge drain on society anyway.

No doubt Noda being a addict has caused the policy to be reversed. When he is out next fall maybe someone not addicted to nicotine will take over and do what is right for Japan. The mayor of NYC has got the formula down to a science for stopping smoking, in some parts of NYC smoking is below 10 percent of the area population. Incredible. He has some guts while Noda is a soon to be lung cancer patient loser.

Does bush support the 5000 or so troops that are in graveyards now because of his fake wars. And then his party, the republicans, are trying to cut veteran benefits because the costs for healthcare for the recent vets is skyrocketing. Bush knows he screwed the troops and is letting them play sports so he can pretend to care.

Obama killed the mastermind behind 9-11 and not a single US soldier was lost.

So who support the troops, bush who sends them into failed wars to die or Obama who tries to save US soldiers? Pretty simple really to figure out.
