Most kids 1-4 years of age in Japan drown in their bathtubs, presumably under their mothers care. According to Steve's tortured logic then we should remove children from their home as their mothers clearly are not protecting their kids. They are simply glorified housekeepers. Kids are less likely to drown at kindergarden.
Amazing how ridiculous the self-righteous can become.

Kids with stay at home moms are at higher risk for psychological problems later in life. Crying on a plane will be the least of their issues. The helicopter mothers who do not have a life of their own, or cannot make one, with their usually one child are a danger to society. It would be far better for society if the kids were in pre-school.
The most famous study of the value of preschool for disadvantaged kids, like those with obsessive mothers and fathers, is now gong on 40 years. See the Perry preschool program in google.

McCain yelled "Get off my lawn" to some folks walking past him.
McCain is senile, Lieberman a trader to his country and Graham is a racist. They all cheered for the Iraq invasion and have not had the decency to apologize to the world for the trillions lost and millions dead. McCain was a buddy of Gadaffi until he wasnt.
Sen. John McCain, visiting Libya this past week, praised Muammar Gaddafi for his peacemaking efforts in Africa. In addition, McCain called for the U.S. Congress to expand ties with Gaddafi's government, according to Libya's state news agency.
McCain had a face-to-face meeting with Gaddafi, which he detailed on his Twitter page with the following message: Late evening with Col. Qadhafi at his "ranch" in Libya -- interesting meeting with an interesting man.

Clearly she thought she was stepping on the brake and when the car went faster she pushed the accelerator harder to try and stop the car. That explains the many questions above on how this happened.

Gadhafi sent a personal letter to the republicans for supporting him in his struggle to kill more of his people. And just yesterday the republicans threatened to cut off funding for US support of Nato. Amazing. Talk about paling around with terrorists. The republicans will embrace a killer if Obama is fighting against him.

Palin's dimness is so pervasive that it makes her supporters turn dim as well. Not that is powerful dumbing down skills.
She is just dim enough to win the republican nomination in 2012. That would insure sane management of the country for another 4 years at least, maybe longer if Hillary runs in 2016.
Palin is what the republicans deserve, just like Bush. She honestly looked drugged when she talked about Paul Revere warning the British. She may be on something . . . I am surprised she did not mention Reveres friends the Raiders as well.

Oh please, the apologists for apartheid love repeating lies to themselves. None of you refute that Israel is without match militarily in the region and has nukes as well. There is no serious threat to Israel at all. And to the recognition point many, many times Arab nations has offered to accept Israel in return for a return to the 67 borders. Saudia Arabia offered such a peace plan over a decade ago. Israel refuses as its leaders do not want peace, they simply want to eliminate the Palestinians via blockades, bombs and weapons of mass destruction. Which in the end accomplishes nothing but generating more hatred.
The courageous thing to do for Israel is to accept Obama's offer now and focus on peace, not genocide. Will it happen, not likely as the Likud party is addicted to hate.
All of you posters so wedded to the current mess that goes back decades now, just want more of the same really. No courage, no guts, no imagination, no hope. Just more and more useless killing. That is what your posts are asking for. Many of you think Jesus will only return in this sorrowful condition, just like those folks in Oakland predicting the end of the world last weekend. Its all just make believe but sadly every day innocent kids are dying in the westbank because of your misplaced faith.

you may be right about the people of Israel as a whole but you are not right about the likud party. They are hate filled racists that do not value life at all unless it carries an israeli passport. There is no defense for the crimes against humanity in the last decade plus, especially when Bush gave them the green light.

the victims of the Israeli genocide do not have nuclear weapons. They mostly have rocks. That is why three years ago when Israel illegally invaded Gaza over 1400 Palestinians were killed and only a dozen or so of Israeli soldiers were. Civilians were targeted with WMDs. The military equation is one sided. Israeli has nothing to fear with its ultra modern and nuclear forces. Nothing. All this threat talk is a cover for the horrible way Israel is treating its Arab citizens or those in occupied areas. That is all. Facts. This is what happens when religious nuts take over the government, like they are trying to do in the USA.
