Senior U.S. diplomats arrive for talks in Myanmar

Two senior U.S. diplomats arrived in Myanmar on Tuesday morning for talks with junta officials and pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi, the U.S. Embassy said.

Assistant Secretary of State for East Asia and Pacific Affairs Kurt Campbell and Ambassador for ASEAN Affairs Scot Marciel arrived in the administrative capital Naypyitaw on a two-day mission, it said.
