I agree, better to practice than do absolutely nothing. Too many people in the world have a false sense of complacency about all sorts of disasters natural and man made. I'm not gonna claim that terrorists are gonna strike constantly like some alarmists would have you believe, but better to…
I agree with TheguyNextdoor. At 2 years old the child should have been watched the whole time. The child should have been with the parent. I hope this story makes other more aware of how quickly things go wrong and that children should be monitored closer.
Why are they 'testing' it in 2008? Willie Nelson has been selling it since 2004. Or is 'testing' a euphemism for 'getting government money to convert to biodiesel'? (Oh no, the inner cynic is escaping.)
You might as well ask whether the average JT reader is competent to judge the competence (or lack thereof) of the Japanese police. Many foreign governments have one or more law enforcement liaison officials in Japan. In addition, the respective branches of the U.S. military with bases in Japan all…
What do you mean by 'overbreeding'? Surely you're not suggesting it would somehow help public safety to have hordes of large dogs with congenital health problems running around the place?
It would be even worse if the Dobies and Rotties got as much and as effective training as most of…

Drill for nuclear attack: say goodbye to your loved ones. Quickly! Too slow.
Drills for the biological attacks should be held in a Tokyo subway. During morning rush hour. And then we can see how the evacuation plans work out.
