I don't do character assassinations, but Seiko Noda's dad was an LDP politician (no doubt doing VERY suspicious and dodgy stuff in his time), and Seiko-san herself has always had "credibility issues" that many in Nagatacho believe have clouded her effectiveness as a politician.
