The same places show over and over again and are the results of google street views and the logarithms associated with putting them in place.

You can play the game without even using your camera. Also, for fans out there, turn off the camera when you go to catch a monster. Much easier to do and you can toss curve balls also up and over and it gets them from behind.

It is cool that it is getting people out on the streets searching and walking, but most do not even see what needs to be seen.

Toss some essence and never get off your couch and you can catch a ton of them.

If you did not walk away for 4 times when you first started, you have to wait a long time to get Pikachu. I have Pikachu :-)

I know a fair few Clannad fans who regularly take trips to Japan to track down landmarks and scenes from the show, taking pictures and comparing those to the anime scenes. It's always interesting to see just how many real life places are used in anime, and not just the famous landmarks either.
