My only connection to Marilyn was Tokujiro Namikoshi, the shiatsu sensei, who used to drink often with my upstairs neighbor (both are long gone). Namikoshi had the honor of practicing his shiatsu on Marilyn during her trip to Japan. And as we all know ... Namikoshi-san said she had the perfect body. I shook hands with Namikoshi, so that's the closest I ever got to Marilyn ... his thumb.

Legendary status is always a combo of personality and beauty. You have to experience them. To appreciate legends, you have to see them in action. I am sure that most young people won't view old movies, no matter who stars in them.
