Wings was just as much groovy lightweight fun as the Beatles.
There is a funny concept band that combines only Beatles and Metallica called Beatallica. They made a bunch of albums that tried to keep a 50/50 blend of various albums from both bands. They survived getting sued by Sony when at least one Metallica member offered them legal help.
