It's great to see a young Chinese woman taking such a great interest in Japanese culture and wanting to help other Chinese people appreciate it. Well done!

A fine example of cultural exchange which I'd love to read more about. The current political issues might make good headlines, but stories such as this one are what truly reflects the real world relationship between Japan and its neighbors.

Interesting article, incredibly stupid (and disrespectful) title. Sounds like she's NOT a "wannabe", she IS a geisha.

In 1983, an American, Lisa Dalby, wrote a book entitled "GEISHA". Ms. Dalby is an anthropologist and the book was an excellent account of her experiences.. i believed she served as a consultant for the film "Memoirs of A Geisha". The book was published by the University of California Press.

@Aliasis agrees. Poorly thought-out & disrespectful title.
