And no mention of the mother. Where was she and what is her story?

Anyway, they teach you a lot of useless junk in schools, but man the males could seriously use some training in how to handle babies. Not to suggest that even a large number males put babies in comas because they don't, but how many males would pick up a crying a baby and instantly think to just sing a song to soothe the baby? Not too many, but most could do the following problem: (Yx3)+(Yx4)=28...for all the good it will do them in life.

This stuff pisses me off to no end. Immature "adults" unable to control themselves like most people can. Yet it happens. Again and again, over and over. Perhaps there is something lacking in education?

Incredibly horrific. We are praying for you, little one.

This monster needs put down! I mean a 2 month old? What was he doing? Crying too loudly?

Hopefully the child is young enough to block this horror (perpetrated by another ill-prepared child) out of his memory.

I wish more parents could understand the soothing effects of skin-to-skin contact, and how reassuring a shoulder can be. These things are priceless, and free.

His son has been in a coma since the attacks and remains in a serious condition.

So the child has been in a coma since Jan of 2012? Even if the child was to wake up from the coma the brain damage would be incredibly extensive. This might sound cruel but honestly considering odds of any type of recovery that would also allow the child to grow up with any type of quality of life I would let the child die.

I think punishment for these sorts of crimes (punkass loser fathers beating their kids) should be a fight to the death in the MMA cage with someone like Chuck Liddell who never shows mercy to an opponent and then lets see how tough these little shts really are.

I hope the little Angel pulls through this somehow. As for the child-hater - this evil coward should be hung from the neck until his worthless life expires.

Look if you don't want children, protect yourself from having them. As a father of a newborn and seeing the miracle of childbirth It kills me every time I read about people who abuse toddlers or leave their kids in hot car.

First of all, who is making the allegations? The mother? The hospital? If the hospital, how the heck would they know WHO did anything? This article is extremely vague on basic details - like why did it take almost two years to charge the father?

This makes me sick to my stomach. Why did it also take this long to figure everything out?!?!

Thats y hitting someone's head is unacceptable and unrespectful in south east asian countries (ASEAN), child or adult, unless you r ready to get a bashing.

This is a very strange story. According to the article the child has been in a coma for one year and nine months and an arrest has only just been made. How is that possible? These injuries and the likely cause for them must have shown up in January 2012. No investigation for a fractured skull in a 2-month old baby? Nothing from the hospital for nearly two years? Where's the mother? This story is really weird, even for Japan.

So many people in this world are desperate to have children and then you have waste of genes like this abusing a two month old baby. The penalties for infant abuse should be as harsh as murder one.

If he is guilty give me just one minute alone with him so I can explain to him what is going to happen to him.

Maybe they had wanted him since the start but he was on the run.
