Harry Potter, Star Wars... never believe when they say this is the last movie and the franchise "is over", they always manage a way to revive the $erie$.

... they always manage a way to revive the $erie$.

Or perhaps interest in the series continues because there are not only people who want to continue telling the story, but also people who want to listen?

The fact that the films continue to do extremely well in theaters and after DVD release would suggest this is at least part of the equation, and not cynically just a money grab.

And a damn fine thing it is too.

@ Farmboy, it's pretty simple; this film takes place before episode 4, so Vader is (or should be in his prime). However this character has been destroyed as far as I'm concerned, since episode 3 established him as just a crying manipulated teenager. Interested to see the film, but totally unenthusiastic about DV.

Tries to capture some of the essence of the original Star Wars, but should make the die hard fans happy to see the Star Wars storybook/storyline.

Jeez, enough death star. The extended first preview showed some beautifully realized landscapes. Fresh stuff. That's what we want.
