31 injured in school bus-car collision in Miyazaki

Thirty-one people, including 29 high school students, were taken to hospital with injuries after a bus collided head-on with a car in Miyakonojo, Miyazaki Prefecture, on Sunday morning.

According to police, the accident occurred at around 6:30 a.m. Fuji TV reported that the school bus was on its way to a baseball game when it hit a car at an intersection. The bus was knocked onto its side.

The 51-year-old driver of the bus, 29 students and the 18-year-old driver of the car, suffered injuries and were taken to hospital, police said.

There were traffic lights at the intersection, but police have not yet said how the accident occurred.

It is very sad when young are hurt in Accidents it appears that none of the readers think about this and comment.
