Cranberry Energy Drink

XL Energy Drink Japan has launched XL Cranberry Energy Drink, a carbonated energy drink with an European fruity taste. It is the only boost of energy on the market which offers a cranberry taste. With its natural flavor and its low carbonate rate, XL Cranberry Drink can be drunk as it is or as a part of a mixed drink.

Cranberry is a fruit from North America which is usually drunk as a juice, a cocktail ingredient or eaten as it is. It is in the top three most fruit juice drinks in the U.S. and is known as a “super fruit” good for both beauty and health due to its nutrient content and antioxidant qualities. It has tannins which are good against cystitis for women and it also contains anti-cancer agents.

XL is a mix of juice, Guarana extract, arginine and caffeine in addition to the B6 and B12 vitamins which are both good for the cardiovascular system. There are 51 calories for 100ml in an average energy drink: XL contains only 46 kcal for the same quantity.

XL is suitable for women who are searching for energy without gaining too much calories. With its flavor which tastes more like a juice than an energy drink, XL Cranberry Drink stakes a claim by being the first women dedicated energy drink in Japan.

Cranberries are great, but mixed with caffeine and too much sugar, or artificial sweetener, and all the other stuff they're going to put in it, will ruin the taste and subtract from whatever health benefits there are.

Just drink the juice, preferably sweetened w/ apple juice and not sugar.

Without "gaining" too many calories??? Better would be "taking in too many calories." And this kind of drink is devoid of any nutrition.

Should mix nicely with Vodka... will give it a try!

Cranberry juice + vodka= Cape Cod. Used to drink these (not to excess of course) back in my younger days.
