I agree with Welsh FA general secretary Ford above, which, as he said, "The beauty of football is its fluidity..." As in other sports, I like to boo the ref when he appears to have made a wrong decision. It's one of the human aspects of the game.
As for the ball itself, when I played the game we used a heavy leather ball (or when it rained, a rubber one). I am really impressed with the way today's ball travels. It appears that it is much easier to kick at a high speed than the old one I played with. If my legs could hold out, I'd love to get out on the pitch and see how the modern ball itself handles ...
And if a future ball gets a chip inserted to monitor questionable plays, that ball, too, will probably be improved more so that it is more kickable than today's ball.
