NAGOYA —
Ozeki Harumafuji defeated Yokozuna Hakuho on Sunday to win the Nagoya sumo tournament. It was his 3rd Emperor’s Cup title.
Both Mongolian wrestlers went into the final with perfect 14-0 records for the tournament, the first time in 29 years that an undefeated ozeki faced an undefeated yokozuna in the final. After the face-off, Harumafuji quickly backpedaled the yokozuna and forced him over the edge at the Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium.

Hope that Harumafuji will be a yokozuna soon. It's going to be more fun.

Great basho Harumafuji! They don't mention the slap to the face that Harumafuji gave the Yokozuna, which I think made Hakuho a little angry, and Harumafuji got the win. I guess he will have to win the next basho to be promoted, but I hope he becomes a yokozuna soon.
