Number one in the league, and Sato is number one in goal scoring! Keep it up Sanfrecce!

J League soccer sucks big time.
Watching Vegalta yesterday, and they are title contendors, was like watching the Sunday pub league in the UK. Long ball in the centre, in the hope that someone can head it in.
Until Japan gets rid of the foreign player limits and attract some real non-Japanese players and mangers, it's going to remain a joke.

It's called "crossing". Spain do it, Holland do it.

So great to see Sanfrecce flying so high, we've been waiting all these years! Sato is already now 2 goals behind the Golden Boot total from last season, surely Zaccheroni must be casting an eye over him by now.

Japan's international results show that its league is absolutely good. Great matches between teams that both want to win, there's no real disparity between all those squads so everybody (well at least 6-8 teams) have a shot at the title and it's less boring than all those championships where the richest clubs battle for the top.
