Poor Murray. Karlovic has such a tough serve to break I'd not be surprised if he has to play another 5 setter to advance.

Nishikori will be happy he is in this half of the draw, 'saving energy' with 3 set wins so far.

Go go go Nishikori! And go Osaka too, she could have some future too.

Especially if the media doesn't make her out to be a god and give her unrealistic expectations, start counting grandslam victories before they have started, etc.

Good players and those with potential do get talked about.

I know you'll love this selection of recent media commentary about Nishikori's chances at this tournament, smith.

First, from that well-known Nishikori bandwagon outfit, the New York Times:

"Nishikori has had a stellar clay-court season"

"His rising level of play ... makes him a dangerous threat to the higher seeds, as they know that the fifth-seeded Nishikori has the ability to make a run for the title at Roland Garros."

Second, from thetennisreview.com:

"If Nishikori can take advantage of Djokovic’s nerves, he could finally get that breakout Slam win, one which feels long overdue, and one which could signal an exciting shift in the tennis hierachy."

It must really grate on you that media contemplates a Nishikori/Djokovic final before it's even happened. Even more so, because these aren't even Japanese media outfits. It's funny isn't it, the whole world is on this bandwagon that you keep railing against.
