I like Uehara and I hope he does well, but he's not worth $18 million at his age. Big mistake by the Red Sox.

Hope his arm holds out at those high ages, 40 & 41. He lost his fabulous breaking ball at the end of this season and ended up throwing a lot of straight stuff that was hit all over the place. If the Red Sox are in the thick of things at the end of the 2015 season, he will be under pressure to pitch much better. Hope he can earn his money with much success.
