CurrentC is fugly and no one will use it. Plus linking to my checking account removes all the fraud protection. Why would anyone choose this option?

Aww... Poor Apple... Couldn't get their own lousy exclusivity agreement in.

It isn't just Apple; Google Wallet also cannot be used at those retailers. The MCX retailers disabled the NFC functions on their terminal preventing any NFC payment. What I can't understand is why they would choose this route to promote CurrencyC. The CurrencyC app is currently on the Google Play and Apple iTunes app stores. All Google and/or Apple would have to do is to simply kick it out of their respective app stores making it dead on arrival.

Before long we may see signs that read "Cash accepted with two forms of ID." but you can use your electronically tracked devices or chip-enhanced cards freely. What it really means is that your every purchase will be and many already are being tracked and monitored in a very Surveillance State /Orwellian way. So, if you're overweight and buying chocolate chip cookies, you might get a message or visit from a Minister of Health official on your unapproved purchase.
