Apple only 6.9% in China, Samsung market leader. just goes to show when you dont have the US courts to protect you from so called copywrite infringement, the competition is that much more difficult

^well said wtfjapan just liked to add propaganda in the usa is the same as in china, just ppl get blinded both sides, few dont. and for smartphones is obviously based on what money they could monopolizing the statistics to provide the sales for their company. for example why isnt there any smartphones from china in the usa, or in canada since i live here, or do u really thing they sell iphones everywhere in china? and the locations that they do, how wouldnt we know that the boarder doesnt block extra productions of the iphones?

There is a good reason they don't sell Xiaomi phones in the US: they are infested with malware most likely. We have rule of law in the US so, yeah, Xiamoi can't operate there.

Xiaomi and other Chinese makers cannot sell in the US without attracting umpteen frivolous "patent infringement" court cases.

@Scrote While I would normally agree that patent cases are a bit out of control, in China's case they are 1000% warranted.
