Hokkaido Air System becomes JAL subsidiary

Hokkaido Air System (HAC) has become a subsidiary of Japan Airlines (JAL) after JAL completed a qualifying transaction to hold up to 51.2% of the shares in HAC on Oct 23.

Hokkaido Air System's network includes the Sapporo (Okadama)-Rishiri and Hakodate-Okushiri routes.

With the success of this acquisition, JAL will support HAC to improve its sales performance and further strengthen its management competence as well.
