Wow! Well-deserved! I'm sure Mika will be proud, maybe even go there for a photo op.

"The Seven Samurai" remains one of my favorite films. However, Mifune's character, Kikuchiyo, wasn't the leader. That role was filled by Takashi Shimura as Kanbe Shimada. Mifune's character was a peasant who was in futile rebellion against the status in which he was born. After 60 years the movie is still a must see. It's also great to see Mifune given a "star" in Hollywood.
