“When Greyson was having a manic episode, it was because I was having a manic episode and I wrote it during that period,” she said. “During his very depressed periods, I was probably very depressed and I wrote it at that time, so I was feeling what he was feeling.”

Take your meds then!! Certainly do NOT advocate for people not taking their meds by writing this book while off your meds!

I can't wait to read this novel! It would be really fabulous if the article's author could refer to people who have bipolar disorder as "has bipolar" instead of "is bipolar". Thanks!
