I'm guessing that the property will be sold to Hong Kong residents who will want a place to go after the 50 year Special Administration Region (SAR) law lapses. They will all come to Japan, mainly Tokyo.

So not only is Japan going to have more Chinese tourists but Chinese permanent residents? Japan need to revamp immigration laws and residency visas to accommodate such influxes.
