GPlus Media acquires Vision Consulting Services

GPlus Media Co Ltd, a pioneer media company targeting the international community in Japan and abroad and a member of Fuji Media Holdings Inc (FMH), announced Friday the acquisition of Vision Consulting Services KK, a recruitment agency specializing in bilingual International talent.

Tadashi Tokizawa, president of GPlus Media, said: "We believe the combination of GPlus Media’s portfolio of online business and extensive user base with Vision Consulting’s specialized recruiting service will produce a fuller, unique and valuable HR service for the market, resulting in the expansion of both existing businesses."

Tokizawa added: "Fuji Media Holdings will continue to produce and develop diverse media services and communication solutions targeting the foreign community and visitors to Japan."

The demand for skilled foreign and bilingual workers in Japan is ever increasing due to the rapidly globalizing society and the increasing number of foreign visitors to Japan, particularly toward the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games.
