No cash compensation...give them points it is common practice in Japan :)

The compensation will come in the form of tremendous discounts for JAL and ANA on their next orders. I am willing to bet we will see a 748i in the colors of one or both airlines.

@Kapuna: Boeing is legally responsible for assuring the safety of the end customer, exactly like Toyota even if it uses some faulty components made in USA. I find funny the double standards of some guys in this site.
