Modus operandi of a Japanese company. Foreign subsidiaries don't make money, cut loose! Local subsidiaries don't make money, give it more money, they deserve a second chance!

Wrong peoples are managing in some of products division in Sony Company. So they do not know how to turn around their products to profitable and becoming popular. If Sony leave smart phone business and then it will be Sony biggest mistake. Apple has making money from its smart phone and tablet. Samsung has making most of its profit from smart phone.
Why Sony can't turn around its business by learning lesson from Apple and Samsung?
Sony Company needs to hire young IT prodigy for Smart Phone division and modernize their products which can be using by all ages and all classes. If you're going into International business and then you need to change Company model. Sony needs young fresh blood for its lifeline.

This is the problem with all tech companies in Japan. The young & bright aren't even a consideration. It's nothing but old fogies at the top because 'that's how we did things back in our day'. This mantra cannot be applied to the tech industry. Take a look at Silicon Valley - young & vibrant! Where's Japan's Silicon Valley? Might as well be a retirement home.
