Police in Isesaki, Gunma Prefecture, have arrested a 19-year-old youth on suspicion of attempted murder after he set fire to his house to kill his father.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 3:30 a.m. Monday. Sankei Shimbun reported that a neighbor called 119 and said the house was on fire. By the time firefighters arrived, the two-story wooden house was ablaze.
A 46-year-old man and his 46-year-old wife and their 17-year-old son escaped the fire by jumping from the second floor. The woman broke a hip bone while her son suffered smoke inhalation. The woman's husband was uninjured.
The fourth member of the family, the couple's oldest son -- a vocational school student -- was already outside the house and has confessed to police that he started the fire. He was quoted by police as saying he hated his father and wanted to kill him, Sankei reported. He told police he started the fire by pouring kerosene on the first floor.

That's one sick puppy. But, like gogogo recently said
This 19 year old "kid" won't see any jail time. I hope his family kicks him to the curb. There's no getting over attempted murder of your whole family. How could they ever sleep with him around?

That is one generic social failure. Those news are not news at all, it is a combination of whom-who on a daily basis.
