Any of a million reasons. Could be that the president was well off and always carried lots of money. Could be a bank deposit that they were taking in. Could have been ____ (fill in the blank with anything).

Nishi-Shimbashi is quite an upstate part of Shimbashi if im not mistaken and 200000 is not a lot of money to hammer someone for in broad daylight.

Taxi as the getaway car. Smart move. You can count the haul without endangering other traffic. However, seeing that nearly all taxis in major cities nowadays have cameras pointed towards their clientele, it’s just a matter of time before these goons are apprehended.

￥200,000 isn't even really that much. If I was going to commit aggravated robbery, I would be hoping to get more than that for sure.

Seriously? Japanese companies still don't have direct deposit available to all employees??? With direct deposit I automatically get a debit card. Which works like a credit card except its money that I actually have in my bank account. I rarely carry cash with me at all.

¥200,000 is a lot more than 2mm thick. As for why the bag, who knows. Maybe he keeps his wallet in his bag. Maybe he had it in an envelope to give to someone. Maybe ___ (fill in the blank).

So why was he carrying that money as cash? Or maybe it doesn't show up on the bank account summary if he decides to go to a shady massage parlor or other illicit service? I rarely carry more than $10 usd worth of cash on me at any given time.
