A 59-year-old man was stabbed in the neck by another man who accosted him as he walked to work in Yokohama on Thursday morning.
According to police, the incident occurred just after 6 a.m. in Asahi Ward. Fuji TV reported that the victim was walking along a sidewalk when a man suddenly came up behind him and stabbed him in the neck as they struggled. Police said the victim told them the man, who was dressed all in black and wearing sunglasses, fled from the scene on foot.
The victim suffered a light injury to his neck, police said.
A woman who witnessed the incident called 110. Police said they are examining street surveillance camera footage to try and identify the assailant.

Wow! I'm wondering if this was just another one of those "I wanted to know what it felt like to kill someone" attacks or if there was a connection between these two? Maybe another love triangle?

looks like the streets of Yokohama can be just as crazy as those of the capital .

I agree. In both cases, not very crazy.

"the man, who was dressed all in black and wearing sunglasses"
I noticed that many of these perps like to wear all black in an effort to disguise its appearance or in order to conceal identity, ( perhaps an area bindle tarrier ferreter) which gives wearing all black and sunglasses , a credulous negative stereotype for the unworldly nationals

Why ?
Or is the reason or non reason not news?

I always want know what exactly a light injury means. Being stabbed in the neck seems a little more than a light injury.

So, Aly Rustom, that incident makes Yokohama unsafe? Wow, where do you live? Lala land? Get real
kurisupisu
So, did the victim have a connection with the perp? Was it an anonymous attack? Were words said before? What does the victim do? Were there any witnesses?
Many many questions here......

looks like Japan is not safe anymore. It seems like my country is more safer because people who are stabbed are people who has done wrong to someone.
