Police in Tokyo have arrested a 21-year-old university student on suspicion of supplying a powder mixture of stimulants and cocaine to a 17-year-old student in Samukawa, Kanagawa Prefecture in October.
According to police, Yoshiki Fujita, a third-year Takachiho University student, has been charged with violating the Stimulants Control Law. Fuji TV reported that Fujita is accused of giving 0.8 grams of powdered cocaine and stimulants to the youth on Oct 18.
The 17-year-old youth was picked up while sitting on a park bench. The youth, who is enrolled in a correspondence course for high school, was questioned by a police officer who noticed him sitting alone on the bench. He then pulled out a small bag, which contained the powdered mixture.
Police quoted him as saying, “I had the drug because I thought it was cool.” Although he initially claimed that he “picked up the powdered concoction from a park,” he later confessed that Fujita supplied him the drug.
Police are questioning Fujita on where he obtained the drugs.

The satsu hassled him because he was sitting alone? Weird.

Did he give it to him as a gift or sell it to him? There is a huge difference under Japanese law. I'm also wondering how far up the tree the trail of dobbers will go.

Hang about, wasn't this story reported a few weeks ago?

I think that was about the kid who got arrested for possession. This was the guy that gave it to him.

Not sure what "policer" are, but you can be sure everybody that guy mentions will be taken into custody, questioned for days on end, given multiple drug tests even though the first was negative, and held for weeks or even months without being charged. That's exactly what happened to my stepson, just because some idiot mentioned his name while being grilled by the police. In the end, we had to hire a lawyer just to force the police to release him.

What got him expelled (if indeed he was) from school?
