It would be great to see a great film made in Japan.. other than Miyasaki no one is making films for a global audience.

Who says movies aren't as popular as ever? And actually, more popular than ever? International revenues for the same period, 2012, have been estimated close to $23BB giving a global revenue of $33.8BB. Which means Hollywood makes more per year than 110 countries' total GDP - more or less, depending on who's statistics are used; IMF, UN, World Bank, etc.
