Does anybody even care abt the academy awards? theyre right up there with MTV awards, Grammys and the nobel prizes for irrelevance.

I don't care about the awards, so I take the same approach to them as I take to other things I don't like watching - I don't watch them, and let others who enjoy watching them watch them without going on about how the awards are irrelevant.

I only like the monologue, Best supporting actor and actress category in the beginning. Then I change the channel for 2 hours then check the Best actor, actress and Picture. The rest is boring as heck. I also like the In Memoriam part to see who passed away and say, "Wow! He died! I didn't know!" lol
