Ken Burns is a documentary diety. The Civil War is the jewel in his crown and anything he does is worthy of attention.

She said filmmakers want to examine what influenced Ali’s choices and how he stuck with them despite public condemnation.

right or wrong, politicians across the US have been trying to pass such laws well before Trump became President. Remember Kim Davies, the Kentucky county clerk who refused to marry a gay couple? Happened on Obama's watch. Where is your outrage at him?

and his reaction to the Pulse nightclub massacre;

“Only weeks ago, in Orlando, Florida, 49 wonderful Americans were savagely murdered by an Islamic terrorist. This time, the terrorist targeted LGBTQ community,” Trump told the Republican delegates. “As your president, I will do everything in my power to protect our LGBTQ citizens from the violence and oppression of a hateful foreign ideology.”

Doesn't sound like someone who in your words "wants to allow restaurants to turn away those who don't fit their profile" to me at all.
