'Game of Thrones' announces winter is coming - in summer

Can't wait! But considering how terrible S6 was, I'm more hyped for Book 6's release this year

they should make a spin off GoT series about just the main characters of the original series. call it something like: game of thrones - 7 kingdoms or something

@bass4funk: I thought it was dreadful, you could really see the drop in quality and lack of forethought in the storyline after it overtook the books as they were making everything up as they went along with little connection to the books. From episode 1, the story became so choked with plot holes it honestly became unwatchable even before midway. The script suffered heavily as well, but the absurdity of the story and scenes became too farcical TBH
