YOSHIKI collaborates with racing team for 2009 Super GT series

YOSHIKI, leader of rock group X Japan, says that Rockstar Energy Drinks will be sponsoring race car manufacturer Dome to the tune of 50 million yen for the 2009 Super GT car racing season. YOSHIKI is an executive producer at sports drink maker Rockstar, and the company will be the main sponsor for Dome this season. Their team name will be “Team Yoshiki & Dome Project.”

YOSHIKI said he has been a fan of car racing for many years, having been involved in the sponsorship of another team in the All Japan F3000 Championship in the mid-1990s.
