I'm anti-smoking, but all the data available so far shows that e-cigs are safer than the regular cigs. I would want smokers to switch to from the regular cigarettes to e-cigarettes if possible. But the problem with them is that are starting to make smoking attractive to people who normally wouldn't be interested in smoking.

They stink.

They smell of anything you want them to smell of.

At least I wouldn't have to hold my breath as I walked past the smoking areas in front of the eki.

Does e-cigarettes refer to vaping, or those weird half-cigarettes that they sell here in Japan?

Both smell less bad than regular cigarettes.

None of my business what other adults choose to do with their bodies. Probably should be regulated like regular cigs, since we don't have hundreds of years of knowledge about what these things may or may not cause.

I don't want to smell them or have "2nd-hand smoke" from them.

The tooty fruity flavor smells are disgusting. They even have vapor liquids for sale in Hawaii for body odors. It is gross.

I've never been one to say smokers are cool or how it looks is a good reason to smoke, but it's kinda hard to say that someone who has a plastic nerf toy sticking out of their mouth has the same je ne sais pas as a person willing to put a real bundle of smoldering vegetation centimeters from their own face.

E-cigarettes, regular cigarettes, filtered, NO filter, they're all bad. Each to his own, but I've never been a fan of the tobacco industry.

Fine for someone who is trying to give up smoking, other than that no need for them

Haven't informed myself enough to form an opinion.

Why, I don't smoke and thus they hold zero interest for me but it might chance if friends used them.

They're nothing but a psychological support for addicts.
