Don`t wast your money - eat fish, fruit and veggies daily. And of course drink red wine liberally.

People taking prescription drugs should consult their physicians before self-prescribing supplements, IMO.
Some supplements interact adversely with some prescription drugs, and if the doctor doesn't know what you are self-medicating with, they can't caution you about bad interactions.

Multivitamins don't improve the health of the average person unless there is a diagnosed problem and sometimes there is a possibility that they might do harm. All that you need to promote health is abundantly present in healthy whole and plant foods. In other words eat lots of fresh vegetables, fruits, grains and try to include them in almost every meal and snack. Also avoid the highly harmful processed foods.
