This is a US based article, where the food industry acts like it hates living, breathing humans and appears to work in tandem with the health industry to make people as fat as possible so they eat more, then get them as sick as possible so they have to spend more money to treat their diabetes and other obesity related symptoms.
I believe in the two step plan for weight loss.
Eat less.
Exercise more.American size portions per person in restaurants are enough for a family of four. It's ridiculous.

Mine does, it's the space under the stairs. There's more space under the kitchen floor for longer-term storage, too (Great for umeshu, etc.)
