Police said Monday that an 11-year-old boy apparently fell to his death from the 8th floor of an apartment building in Komaki, Aichi Prefecture.
According to police, the parents of fifth grade elementary school student Keigo Oguni believed their son was outside playing on Sunday afternoon. However, after he failed to return home, the family became concerned and began searching for him, Fuji TV reported. Keigo was eventually found lying in a hedge outside the family’s apartment home by his older brother at around 7:30 p.m.
He was taken to hospital where he was confirmed dead. Police say that Keigo’s death is likely to have been the result of a fall from one of the upper floors of the apartment block, and that his fall is currently being treated as an accident. An investigation is underway to establish the circumstances that led up to the incident, police said.

Brilliant deduction! Condolences to the family and lets all hope it was an accident and not another bullied kid jumper.

Another example if why I don't believe kids should be living in apartments if possible. They aren't all that safe and I don't think some parents explain to their kids that they shouldn't be running around and playing in them.
RIP innocent child.

The parents believed he was playing with friends... Then later, was found dead....
Assumption is he fell from the 8th floor... I too hope it wasnt a bullied kid suicide, but more so, i am hoping that there isnt a wacko child murderer on the loose...
