Poor old fellow. Old age is not fun, if you're ailing. It must be so grim, being kept in hospital for so long, and then you die...

pneumonia took my dad away last year. luckly, he was only ill for a couple of weeks and died quick. this poor guy had it for nearly half a year. That's a hard way to go.

Sad indeed, but at the same time, he lived a very, very long and productive life.
