Tokyo Skytree welcomed its 10 millionth visitor to its observation deck on Friday, Tobu Tower Skytree Co said. The milestone was reached 564 days after the tower opened on May 22, 2012, the operator said.

The lucky visitor was a man from Gifu Prefecture who was visiting the tower with three family members, TBS reported. He was presented with a bouquet of flowers and commemorative gift items.

Tokyo Skytree is absolutely my favourite spot in Tokyo. I've only been up there after dark though, the night-lit view with lights from the city is great. But what is the daylight version like, any experiences?

On a clear day you can see Fuji-San quite well, much larger than I expected. Highly recommended.
