or how about this new product i just heard about...eye drops

ludicrous.

I suffer with hayfever and dry eyes. Fortunately, at least right now, I don`t suffer with everyone in the street laughing at the glasses on my sorry face. I would like to keep that going, at least for now.

My vote is for eye drops!

I'm guessing that this is mostly designed for those times when you're hunkered down alone in your (possibly kerosene-heated) room/cubicle for 12 hours straight doing work/schoolwork/playing games, and no one has to see you.

I'm constantly amazed at the clever little ways we come up with to make our unhealthy, antisocial behavior more comfortable, rather than having to try to minimize the need for it!

There are special "anti-tiring" glasses for gamers staring at the screen for hours on end. There's glasses for everything.

I recommend blueberry and casis extracts, extract of marygold (contains lutein) and DHA.

Dry eyes is not cause by the eyes drying but rather by the need for a good eye check up and the correct prescription. I fixed my dry eye problem with that. Check it out.

For all you thoughtless types who say "use eyedrops" or "don't look at the computer screen so much," there are other reasons that a product like this is necessary that have nothing to do with behavior. My face is partially paralyzed due to a brain tumor surgery, and my left eye doesn't blink so well so it dries out, especially in arid weather like we get during the wintertime in the American northeast. I need something like this. Please don't make fun.

It's not a choice. I can't be putting eyedrops in every 30 seconds for the rest of my life or wearing a mechanical contraption that does it automatically for me (if such a thing exists). So far, there are some things that surgery doesn't fix. Permanent neurological damage in one of them. Special shields like these that prevents dry air from wafting past the eyeballs and evaporating their surface moisture are a good stopgap remedy for the problem.
